Who Is Your SHEro?

Each year, the Women's Endowment Fund invites community members to honor the important women in their lives through its annual "Who Is Your SHEro?" campaign.

Through April 30, community members are encouraged to make tribute or memorial gifts in honor of their SHEroes – the mothers, wives, sisters, friends and mentors who have made a significant impact on their life. In turn, those honored can receive a special SHEro card letting them know a gift was made in their name.

Donations are fully tax deductible and ultimately support the Women's Endowment Fund's grantmaking to programs that improve the health and wellness, safety, and economic empowerment of women and girls in Summit County.

Celebrating Your SHEroes is Easy

Make a gift in honor of your SHEroes by donating online, texting SHERO to 71777, or calling Akron Community Foundation at 330-376-8522.
Each woman you honor can receive a personalized card telling her that she's your SHEro. This card will notify your SHEro that a gift has been made to the Women's Endowment Fund in her honor, but will not disclose the amount.
The Women's Endowment Fund will grow! Your gift will help the fund award grants to nonprofit organizations that empower, uplift and support women and girls throughout our community.
